This study analyzed the structural behavior of beam members using L-shaped steel, which could be non-support and non-mold members; study also evaluated performance. This study used L-shaped steel as material for main bar and stirrups to improve workability of existing reinforced concrete beam members. Also, a steel plate form was wrapped around the beam and connected with the stirrup to make the whole member behave in an integrated manner. As a result, after analysis of the applicability of the design criteria used in Korea and abroad, the predicted design bending strength presented in the current design criteria was found to be about 5 % lower than the measured value of the bending strength of the target specimens that had the steel mold removed; the bending strength was about 15~18 % lower than that of the specimens that had retained the steel mold, showing a very conservative tendency.
